| Tim is a Red Sox & Bruins fan, born in Boston, and has lived in Nagano for 16 years. He has over twenty years experience coaching hockey, swimming, and English to children, and has three young kids of his own. Tim holds an MEd from Chaminade University, Honolulu, an MBA from UMass, and a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from the North American Montessori Center, B.C., Canada. |

| Mana has four Montessori-educated
daughters, the youngest in second grade and
the eldest a high school junior who's on her way to Germany for a year. She's also the Nagano rep for AFS - which sponsers homestays for Japanese high-schoolers abroad, and foreign high-schoolers here in Japan, mostly at Nagano and Nishi High Schools. Mana holds an AMI Certificate of Early Education from the Montessori Teacher Training Center, Amsterdam, Netherlands. She spends her summer break in the eastern US & Canada. |
